THE GEAR CELLS
Fine and medium pitch gear hobbing and shaping — plus everything around it to build complete gears, transmissions, and machinery: deburring tools, heat treating ovens, NIST-certified hand tools, Zeiss CMM, gear-specific inspection machines, and analysis software.
Every great gear starts with a highly concentric blank, so our 2025 and 2026 capex campaigns went deep on the turning side: a new M08SY-II lathe with 7-axis robot tending and bar feeder for lights-out blank production, and upgraded programming with ESPRIT — a true digital twin from CAM to chips. A Zeiss CMM closes the loop early, catching deviations at the blank stage — before they become scrapped gears — and feeding corrections back into the process so quality compounds with every run.
2026 is not over, stay tuned for more expansion.

CNC TSUGAMI M08SY-II DUAL SPINDLE BARFED LATHE
Great for small-to-large quantity precision: turning, threading, and boring of complex gear blanks. The Y-axis turret stations help make the blank complete in one machine. Bar-feeding makes quick work on high quantities and temperature compensation ensures repeatabllity.
